Finance Committee

Members

The Finance Committee consists of 3 members who serve for terms of 2 years. 1 member is elected on odd-numbered years and 2 members are elected on even-numbered years. To contact the committee members, email finance@ardencroft.delaware.gov.

Purpose & Tasks

The Finance Committee represents and is responsible to the Village Assembly for financial matters. It works in conjunction with the Treasurer of the Village in seeking additional income and overseeing Village expenditures. The Finance Committee makes an annual recommendation as to the rental value of the lands in Ardencroft and reports it to the Directors of the Ardencroft Association and to the regular Village Assembly with all substantive data on which their recommendations are based. The Finance committee conducts 2 public hearings held before such recommendations are submitted.
