Coordinating Committee

Members

The Coordinating Committee consists of Village Assembly officers, the chairs of all standing and special committees, and the immediate past Village Assembly Chair. The Village Assembly Chair serves the Committee Chair and the Secretary serves as Secretary of the Committee. To contact the committee members, email coordinating@ardencroft.delaware.gov.

Purpose & Tasks

The Committee is advisory to the Village Assembly and it

  • coordinates and reviews the committee activities of the Village
  • advises on preparation of agendas for the meetings of the Village Assembly
  • prepares a Village budget for recommendation to the Village Assembly
  • presents annual nominations for all vacancies in standing committees and officers to the Village Assembly for annual elections

Meetings

The Coordinating Committee holds public meetings virtually on the first Wednesday of the months of February, May, September, and November at 7:00 pm to plan that month’s Village Assembly meeting agenda and discuss other business.
